"Big boy" table

His feet don't touch the ground yet, but he loves his "big boy" table for coloring, eating or just playing. He'll grow into it eventually (just don't tell me that one day, he'll get so big that he'll outgrow it!).

Sweet tooth

So, today is a "Mommy and Christopher day" because Daddy is skiing (1st time since the ACL injury) and I have a long stretch of work starting tomorrow, but I am off today. We did an early morning grocery run and while there, figured..."hey, let's have donuts for breakfast." I don't think he quite understood what that meant until we got home and I tore off a piece of donut for him. A few bites in, I asked him if he liked it. His response? "More."

Helping to make dinner...

I was cutting up a red pepper for chicken cacciatore and suddenly beside me is Christopher, standing on his toy drum (1st picture). His little eyes were just barely above counter top level. So, we pulled a chair up beside me (other 2 pictures), so he could stand on it to see a little better.





And suddenly, we had a little chef on our hands. He was busy "measuring" things and "pouring" out the cans and mixing things up. It was pretty cute.
