New hat

Thanks to Grandma Kozel for my new ear-warming winter hat!

Sledding

This was back in December, over Christmas break.  Chris got to do some sledding with Daddy.  He really loves being outside in the snow!

Christmas Day 2011

Santa ate the cookies and milk!
Opening up his stocking first - lots of mint gum and tic tacs, his favorites.
On to opening gifts...definitely brought a smile to his face!
Trying out the new harmonica -sounds good!
This is the ONE thing he asked Santa for - a skateboard.  This skateboard starts off more like a skooter, then the handle comes off to become a skateboard as he gets bigger.  He's all set to ride with his array of knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards!
Playing with his new marble game (like the one Mom had as a kid) - lots of fun!  It was a quiet Christmas and though we missed getting to see all of our family, we had a great day together - spent mostly in our pajamas and eating lots of Christmas goodies.

Grandma & Gramps' visit - Dec 2011

Waiting in line to see Santa - the first year he was actually excited/happy to see him!
About to fling a snowball at Dad...
Taking a horse-drawn trolley ride in downtown Evergreen after getting to see Santa.  Brrrr...
Getting the angel on the tree...
Beginning to put up decorations  - he was a big helper!
Making M&M Spritz cookies with Grandma.  One M&M for the cookie, two for his mouth. and repeat...

So great to spend time with you, Grandma and Gramps - love you so much!

Hugs for baby sister

24 weeks down...15 to go.  Christopher is sooooo excited to be a big brother, he can hardly stand it.  He's having a very hard time waiting and is always asking when she's coming out of my belly.  We've told him that she won't be here until after he turns 4, so...the question every day is, "Am I four yet?"

Diggin' the Nook

Though it's not technically his Nook, he sure loves the interactive kids books on it.  Recovering from a cold has meant lots of book reading.
