Christmas 2010 in Indiana

First off...getting to play with the "puppies," Dixie and Mav, at Babcia's house. Christopher loves getting "kisses" from these dogs...
Christmas meal at Aunt Val's house. Yum!
Dad, check out my new construction Legos from Babcia!
Two cousins in construction Lego heaven...
A rare moment...all three cousins sitting quietly, side by side...
Coloring time with Babcia...
Christopher and cousin Caity, hard at play next to each other...
Daddy became the "tickle monster," and was ganged up on by a hoodlum of tickle-loving cousins...
Ah, he got me!
Showing off some random somersault skills...
Cousins Caity and Ayla showing the boys how to use the Wii...
The kids table (plus Uncle Trevor) for Christmas lunch at Grammy and Grampy's house...
Sharing my cool new airplane toy with cousins Clark and Isaiah...
All the cousins on the frozen pond at Grammy and Grampy's house. Snowball fights and sliding on the ice!
Getting ready to wing a snowball at an unsuspecting cousin...
Getting to do puzzles with Grampy...
The game of "duck, duck, goose" that only the eldest cousin actually got the hang of...
It sure was a lot of fun to have so much time with my aunts, uncles, cousins, Grammy, Grampy and Babcia - love you all!!

Christmas 2010

Christmas in Colorado before heading to Indiana.

The yearly Santa photo - less crying this year...
An airplane that comes with a drill so you had take it apart and put it back together again, over and over and over...
Baseballs are cool!
A dragon fortress - what every boy needs!
You mean there's another present...just for me?? Let me at it!
Dad, hand over the fun new toy. My turn, my turn!
Wow, Uncle Steve, it has my name on it!!

Grandma and Gramps' visit! (Dec 2010)

This is a LONG overdue post, but...in mid-December, Grandma and Gramps Kozel came to visit us in Colorado and we had a great time!

Grandma and Christopher read several stories together...
Putting ornaments on the tree. There was a particular area on the tree with A LOT more ornaments clustered together than the rest of the tree...
Me and Truman are good friends...
Showing off my cool new Woot! t-shirt...
Carefully painting the Christmas cookies...
Check out my hand-made sweater from Grandma!
Being goofy with Gramps...
I'm watching you, Gramps...
The rare family picture...
Grandma, you're silly, I like you...

Thanks for coming to visit us in Colorado!!

Reading a book "with" Grammy...

Christopher is listening to "The Night Before Christmas," narrated by Grammy (aka Shirley) in a recordable book, over and over and over...

Blue sucker = blue tongue

Denver Zoo in November!

It was too warm of a day in November to pass up a day at the zoo...

Halloween 2010

This year, our little monkey man got to do his Halloween treat-or-treating at Aunt Michelle and Uncle Trevor's church (Mountair Christian Church) with his cousins Ayla and Isaiah, as well as Grammy. His monkey costume was courtesy of Grandma Kozel - thanks again, Grandma!!
He "mastered" the games rather quickly, learning that if you stand about 2 inches from the bucket, your throw is much less likely to miss and you're much more likely to get lots of candy.
And he got a LOT of candy!
