Fun in the snow!

Apple dumplings!

This post is essentially an ode to Grandpa and the family tradition of making apple dumplings on the first snowfall.

(You're right, Dad...having a kid on the counter helping does make the apple dumplings that much better.)

How he eats donuts...

I must say, the boy loves donuts. Here he is getting started. His favorites are ones with sprinkles...

And this is what it looks like at the end. Only the tops of the donuts have been eaten. The bottoms are just a vehicle for the icing and sprinkles, according to Christopher.

Catching a "cat nap" together...

It's a jungle at the dentist's...

Christopher recently had a check-up at the dentist's and the place is very cool - all jungle-themed and lots for kids to do (including a slide in the lobby, no joke). There are computer screens at toddler level that are touch screen to play games on while you wait...

And there are many jungle animals to ride while you're waiting, too...

Going to the dentist isn't so bad after all (and he got a clean bill of health!).

My fort!

Daddy made this fun fort for me and I love it! It has doors and handles and shelves inside (to hide things, don't tell Mom and Dad) - fun!

Grandma and Gramps' visit! (Dec 2010)

This is a LONG overdue post, but...in mid-December, Grandma and Gramps Kozel came to visit us in Colorado and we had a great time!

Grandma and Christopher read several stories together...
